Stephanie Horanic
A seasoned nurse practitioner with over 26 years of experience, including 17 in hospice and 14 as an NP, I founded My Way End of Life Doula Services to offer compassionate support during life’s final stages. My extensive background includes specialized experience in pediatric hospice and supporting families through prenatal loss, highlighting the profound need for empathetic care. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by marginalized communities like African Americans and the LGBTQ+ community, I strive to provide culturally competent and unbiased support. Furthermore, I offer understanding and guidance to individuals navigating family traumas, generational patterns, and estrangement in their end-of-life journey. Ultimately, I am dedicated to providing personalized emotional, practical, and spiritual support to ensure a dignified and peaceful experience for everyone.

I completed my training with The Dying Year in February of 2025 and have a micro-credential from the National End of Life Doula Alliance (NEDA) that I was awarded in April of 2025.
